¿Who are we?
The "ASOCIACIÓN DE VIVIENDAS RURALES CASAS RONDA", local association of
Rural Tourism in Ronda, offers information about a great selection of housings
distributed throughout the whole highlands surrounding Ronda. They are not
commercial establishments, but rather private houses qualified by the Government
of Andalusia as " Rural Tourist Housings", falling under the pertinent
regulations concerning "civil rentals".
The most independent and comfortable solution to spending holidays in
the countryside is to rent fully self-sufficient houses, as in our case. The
capacity normally ranges from two to eight beds, although there are also houses
that can accommodate up to 20 persons.
The alternatives are wide since they include mostly country houses in
the surroundings within 0 Kgs. to 20 Kms. from Ronda, with a maximum average
distance of 6 Kms. There are farmhouses, totally independent houses in the
countryside, other ones near the more populated areas, former water mills and
cosy little town houses in villages, where the contact with the local
inhabitants is immediate.
In all of the cases, it will be the owner who, without intermediaries,
will open the house to you, inform you of the most interesting sites and the
best places to enjoy the local culture, way of life and gastronomy, and plan an
infinity of itineraries and experiences measured to your desires.
The furnishings can vary according to the location, area and price,
although the following minimums are guaranteed: hot and cold water, fully
equipped kitchen, complete bathroom or shower, beds and mattresses.
Normal consumption of water, electricity, and butane gas are included in the
price of rent, as well as towels and bed linen, which are changed weekly.
In our web page you will find many photos and details on all of the
houses. There is also information about Ronda and the highlands around it,
including information on the nearby villages and their surroundings, suggestions
for trekking or car excursions, contacts for renting horses or bicycles, and
everything else in that the holidaymaker may be interested in. In many cases,
the owner may offer a swimming pool, horses, bicycles, trekking routes, hunting
and fishing, etc.
According to the Article 2 of its bylaws, the Association of Rural Housings " Casas Ronda " has the following aims:
a) The promotion of rural tourism in the highlands of Ronda.
b) To develop solidarity among its associates, stimulating collaboration and aiding them to achieve the necessary unity and effort aimed at creating a climate of dedication and attention to rural tourism in Ronda.
c) To give an awareness and care for the rural environment of Ronda and its region.
d) To arouse society to the importance of caring for and promoting rural environment as a holiday and leisure alternative.
In order to attain such purposes, the following activities will be
carried out under Article 3 of its bylaws:
a) To carry out all said social, cultural activities aimed at spreading the aims of this Association.
b) To promote our aims at individual and collective level by means of conferences and lectures in collaboration with the diverse sectors related with the Association's aims.
c) To establish relationships of collaboration with official and private national and foreign entities inspired by aims similar to those of the Association.
d) To insert a page in Internet advising of the rural housings of Ronda and its surroundings.
e) To offer information about the above-mentioned rural housings.
You will find us in internet Agencies and tourist guides of the area both
nationally as internationally that do not require any commission. In view of the
above, we do not attempt to offer you many houses, limiting ourselves
exclusively to those inside the area of the region of the beautiful and
legendary highlands of Ronda.

The Association of Rural Housings " Casas Ronda" does not obtain any financial profit possible commercial relations stemming from the information that it provides, which will solely be between the lesser and the lessee. The rental of the houses is done directly by the owners.
